Family bets GPS will help beat teen's ticket

This article came from www.cnn.com on November 11,2007. This article contains information about speeding tickets and getting out of them by using a GPA system. GPA systems are starting to be more accurate making it easier for people to get out of tickets. They are even being challenged in court with police radar. This says alot about technology and how much we are starting to trust it. We will believe that a fixed system could be better than a police radar. I think that this is an important article for teens because teens are the ones installing and trusting these systems the most. These systems are making us dangerous driver's. So the question for this article should be, are GPA systems a good idea for public safety?

GodTube competes with YouTube

This article comes from cnn.com, November 4, 2007. This article is about a new web page called GotTube.com. It is in great resemblence with the well known web site YouTube.com. It is a site for Christians, or other religions to gather and communicate. There are public blogs for discussion and anyone is welcome. The site is even welcome to atheists. It contains sermons and announcements for certain events to come. I think that this web page is a great idea because everything on the internet is getting nasty or too much for some people. This web page is a place for christians or religious people to gather and chat about the things the like.

Microsoft invests $240 million in Facebook

This article is from cnn.com, October 26, 2007.
This article is about Microsoft competing for the ownership of the adverstising product known as "facebook". Facebook is a online attraction used for web surfers to look for dates, connect with friends and family, and share photos, videos and music. The article mentioned how rapidly the "social internet" is rising and there are more users everyday. Facebook is currently second to Myspace, but is close in the runnings. By Microsoft purchasing this, it blew Google out of the water. This article was very interesting to me because teens are everyday using facebook and myspace. I myself use them both. I liked this article because I think that even though they keep competing, there will always be another program or something to buy and get ahead.
